Fixed hourly wage: As a freelancer, you can negotiate your rate. For a temp gig, the hourly wage is fixed and is directly visible in the description.
Rate varies by age: The final hourly wage depends on your age. The rate you see in the app is automatically adjusted to the pay scale (staffel) that matches your legal age.
What does the 'all-in' rate mean? The rate shown in the app is an all-in rate. This means that all statutory allowances are already included in this amount. It consists of:
Your gross hourly wage
Your accrued holiday allowance (vakantiegeld)
Your accrued holiday hours
Please note: Separate accrual of reserves: Although it is an all-in rate, the holiday allowance and holiday hours are accrued separately. This means you do not receive this specific part directly with your regular weekly wages. Instead, you save this amount in your reserves at YoungCapital. You can claim your accrued holiday hours through the YoungCapital portal whenever you want them paid out (for example, when you take time off). Your holiday allowance is paid out annually in May, or earlier if you leave the company.
