Fortunately, it doesn't happen often, but sometimes you can't reach the client. No stress! We have made a clear step-by-step plan so you know what to do if you can't reach the client. This way you can get back to work quickly:

Check if you are in the right place first Before you panic, check the following: Are you at the right location? Check the gig description and the address in the app. Have you already called the client? The gig information says ‘Call <client name>’. Try this a few times and leave a voicemail if possible. WhatsApp or SMS: Try sending a message on the app to the same number. Other phone numbers: Sometimes the company has general numbers that you can find via Google. Help from staff: Do you see people on location who can refer you to the team leader or manager? Neighbours or other companies: Maybe they can help you contact the client.

Make sure you have proof that you acted correctly Is it still not working? Make sure you can show that you did your best: Stay at the location where you are. Take a few photos of the location and possibly a screenshot of your location in Google Maps. Contact YoungOnes. Mention the date, time, photos and screenshots, and which gig it concerns. We will contact the client and help you reach a solution. This way you can be sure you did everything right, no matter what happens.

If all this fails:

Within office hours (Monday to Friday, 09:15-17:00):

  1. Stay at the location where you are.

  2. Take a few photos to show that you are at the location. You can also take a screenshot of your current location in Google Maps, so that this can come in handy later.

  3. Contact YoungOnes via the live chat. Indicate which gig it is and who the client is. We will do our best to give you advice on the best thing to do.

Outside office hours (evening, night and weekend):

  1. Stay at the location for at least 30 minutes after the start of your gig.

  2. Take a few photos to show that you are at the location. It is also useful to take a screenshot of your current location in Google Maps.

  3. Contact YoungOnes via email. Send us the following information: date and time of the gig, photos and screenshots.

As YoungOnes, we will contact the client and see how we can reach a solution.
