You can work in the Netherlands if you have a valid ID:
A Dutch passport or ID card.
A passport or ID card from a country within the European Economic Area (EEA).
Don't have one of these nationalities? Then you need a valid residence permit that grants you the right to work in the Netherlands.
A residence permit is valid if it states ‘Arbeid vrij toegestaan’ (Work freely permitted) and no ‘Tewerkstellingsvergunning (twv)’ (Work permit) is required. Please complete our ID check to see if you’re eligible to work.
ID during a gig Keep in mind that clients may also ask for identification. Always bring your passport or ID card to a gig. Note: According to the Labour Inspectorate, a driving licence is not valid proof of identity on the job.
