Your profile is super important! This is the first impression a client gets of you. Therefore, make sure your profile looks as good as possible.

Here are some tips to get you started.

Profile picture | Make sure you have a presentable profile picture. Of course, your Instagram photos at a festival or with a cocktail in your hand are great fun, but is this photo appropriate? Your photo is the first impression a client gets of you. Therefore, it is advisable to use a business photo. Smiling is of course allowed!

Motivation | The motivation tells you what makes you unique and why a client should choose you. It certainly does not have to be a book, make your motivation short but powerful! A personal touch is always good; it gives the client the feeling that they already know you.

Work experience | Just like your motivation; keep it short! Mention the function, the employer and the duration of the gig. This way, your profile remains clear and businesslike.

Rating | After each gig, you and the client can rate each other using stars. It is important that your rating is always as high as possible, as this increases your chances of being chosen for future gigs.

To make sure you are always rated well:

  • Show up on time! Check in advance how long the drive is or what time your bus leaves. Take traffic jams or delays into account and if you can't make it unexpectedly, call your contact person, make sure they know about it.
  • Have a chat; introduce yourself nicely, ask questions during the gig and show interest. Give feedback at the end of the gig as well. The client will remember you a lot faster this way!
