Great that you would like to work! Just too bad you just don't get accepted for gigs. We understand that it can be frustrating, but don't worry. It has nothing to do with you personally, because there could be other reasons:
- The gig is no longer going available.
- Someone has responded who has worked for this client before or is in the favorites pool.
- Your profile does not fit the requirements of a gig.
There are also a number of things you can do yourself:
- Check your YoungOnes profile again. Do you have a representative profile picture and did you describe your work experience? In this article, we give some tips for your profile.
- When you respond to a gig, also leave a short motivation describing why you are suitable for the gig and not someone else.
- Make some adjustments in the app! Click multiple categories or increase your maximum distance. Perhaps then several gigs will come up that could be of interest to you anyway!
- Try something new. Respond to a gig that doesn't really appeal to you. Maybe you will work with great colleagues or maybe you will be surprised and end up liking it.
- Take a look at the replacement gigs! In the app, you can adjust your filters to specifically search for replacement gigs. This way, fellow freelancers have the opportunity to select you as the ideal replacement for their gig! These gigs are sometimes also offered in Discord Community.
- You can respond as much as possible! Even if jobs are on the same day/time, because if you are chosen, overlapping jobs will automatically be withdrawn. Be careful, if you are already chosen for a gig and then respond to an overlapping gig, it is possible to get two gigs at the same time.
